ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Credit Management

  1. Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to assess customer creditworthiness.
  2. Review and approve credit applications, set credit limits, and monitor ongoing risk.
  3. Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to balance risk and revenue

Collections Oversight

  1. Lead the collections team to ensure timely recovery of outstanding receivables.
  2. Design and execute collection strategies for delinquent accounts.
  3. Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers when necessary.

Reporting & Analysis

  1. Prepare regular reports on aging accounts, DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), and collection performance.
  2. Analyze trends in payment behavior and recommend process improvements.
  3. Monitor KPIs and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

Team Leadership

  1. Supervise, train, and mentor credit and collections staff.
  2. Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations.
  3. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Systems & Compliance

  1. Maintain and optimize ERP and credit management systems.
  2. Ensure adherence to company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards
