Position Summary

The Corporate Compliance Manager reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and is responsible for managing, coordinating, and monitoring corporate compliance programs across Akhiok-Kaguyak, Inc. (AKI) and its subsidiaries.

This position serves as the organization's primary corporate compliance resource, ensuring that business activities align with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, government contracting requirements, corporate policies, and established internal controls.

The Corporate Compliance Manager provides independent compliance oversight, evaluates regulatory risks, develops and maintains compliance procedures, conducts internal reviews, coordinates audits, recommends corrective actions, and advises the CEO on significant compliance matters.

Primary areas of responsibility include FAR/DFARS, DCAA, DCMA, SBA 8(a)/ANC requirements, the Service Contract Act (SCA), applicable federal contractor employment regulations, and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) initiatives.

This position works collaboratively with Human Resources, Finance, Contracts, Operations, and Information Technology to establish consistent compliance practices, monitor regulatory obligations, and support organizational audit readiness and continuous improvement.

The Corporate Compliance Manager must demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, establish positive and collaborative working relationships across all levels of the organization, and effectively communicate compliance expectations, findings, and recommendations in a professional and constructive manner.

This position is dedicated exclusively to corporate and regulatory compliance and does not include direct management of other corporate departments. Department leaders retain responsibility for implementing compliance requirements within their respective functions, while the Corporate Compliance Manager provides independent monitoring, guidance, coordination, and reporting.
