TITLE:                         Compliance Analyst REPORTS TO:            SVP Compliance & Privacy STATUS:                     Salaried LOCATION:                 Remote SCHEDULE:                 Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

JOB SUMMARY: The Compliance Analyst supports the organization's compliance, risk management, and governance activities through policy administration, documentation management, compliance assessments, risk tracking, and process improvement initiatives. This role works collaboratively with business stakeholders to help ensure adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements and supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of compliance and risk management processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation:

Develop, maintain, and manage organizational policies, procedures, standards, and related compliance documentation. Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses to identify compliance risks, control deficiencies, and process improvement opportunities. Document, track, and report risk findings, remediation activities, and corrective action plans through resolution. Create and maintain compliance-related documentation, process maps, reports, and audit artifacts. Review business processes and controls to ensure compliance, operational effectiveness, and continuous improvement. Assist with compliance training activities to support employee awareness and understanding of regulatory and organizational requirements. Assist with privacy projects, monitoring activities, and privacy-related risk assessments to support the privacy program. Support assigned compliance and risk-related projects, including planning, coordination, tracking, and stakeholder communication. Coordinate documentation, training, testing activities, and stakeholder communications to support the organization's governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) system. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support compliance initiatives, audits, assessments, and regulatory requirements. Prepare reports, presentations, and metrics for leadership and key stakeholders. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Compliance, Information Systems, or related field. 2-4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, audit, governance, quality assurance, business analysis, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of transferable experience and skills. Experience creating and maintaining documentation, policies, procedures, or reports. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with or willingness to learn AI tools and emerging technologies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with Archer, Onspring, or other GRC platforms. Experience supporting audits, assessments, or risk management activities. Knowledge of compliance frameworks and internal controls. Relevant certifications are a plus but not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the responsibilities of the job, the person in this position will be required to frequently communicate information so others will understand. The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time and must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. The person in this position may need to occasionally move about the inside of an office. The person in this position may need to position self to maintain files in a cabinet and place computers under a desk or in a cabinet. This position requires ability to constantly observe typewritten text on a computer screen. The person in this role is required to operate a laptop and use a telephone regularly. The person in this position may be required to travel throughout the USA by automobile or airplane which may require overnight lodging.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the person in this role may be in a stationary position in an office setting and may be exposed to quiet to moderate noise level.
