Summary/Objective 
The CFO is responsible for directing the accounting/financing department of the organization in accordance with sound business practices and generally accepted accounting principles.

Primary Duties: CFO – The Spring Grove Family Accounting / Finance Insurance / Benefits Management Work Environment This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, printers and fax machines.   Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk. Required to lift up to 20 pounds.   Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time Exempt position. Business days and hours of work are: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.   Travel
Local travel required between campuses for support.   Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience

  8. Experience with Sage Intacct financials helpful but not required
  9. Experience with trusting laws as it pertains to the Cemetery and Funeral business helpful but not required
  10. General knowledge of Cemetery Accounting is helpful but not required
  11. Master’s degree and CPA or equivalent combination of education and experience of at least 10 years as a CFO.
  12. Experience with ERP and core systems as well as MS 365
  13. Displays a “Customer First” attitude.
