Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable Supervisor will oversee an accounts payable team, direct the processing of invoices and payments, and manage expense accounts and budget reports.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration, with one year of experience in an accounting office; OR five (5) years of accounting experience. 

Managerial or supervisory experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of accounting systems, principles, and practices. Skill in the use of personal computers and related accounting software applications. Skill in the use of mathematics. Interpersonal skills. Management skills. Ability to analyze data and/or information. Ability to train, motivate, and supervise employees.

Requires occasional exposure to unpleasant or disagreeable physical environment such as high noise level and exposure to heat and cold, occasional activities subject to significant volume changes of a seasonal/clinical nature, frequent work produced subject to precise measures of quantity and quality, occasional bending, occasional lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds, occasional crouching/stooping, occasional kneeling, frequent reaching, constant sitting, occasional standing, frequent twisting, and frequent walking. (occasional-up to 20%, frequent-from 21% to 50%, constant-51% or more)
