Job Summary: 

Catawba Two Kings Casino is seeking a Casino Credit Manager to join our team.  The Casino Credit Manager is responsible for providing strategic direction, operational oversight, and governance for all casino credit and collections activities.  This role is responsible for ensuring consistent credit underwriting standards, optimizing portfolio performance, managing credit risk exposure, and driving operational excellence.  The Casino Credit Manager partners closely with property leadership, finance, operations, and compliance teams to support revenue growth while maintaining strong internal controls and regulatory compliance.  

Responsibilities: 

• Provides leadership and direction for casino credit and collections operations.
• Establish standardized policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure consistency and compliance across all shifts.
• Partners with property leadership, Player Development, and Finance to align credit strategy with business growth objectives.
• Leads, mentors, and develops credit team to ensure strong execution and succession planning.
• Oversees credit issuance, underwriting, and approval processes.
• Reviews and approves high-value credit applications, limit increases, and exception request within delegated authority.
• Evaluates and monitors customer creditworthiness, including ongoing reverification of financial gaming data.
• Ensures consistent application of credit policies, risk tolerance, and approval authority thresholds.
• Manages the credit portfolio, including monitoring exposure, utilization, delinquency, and loss trends.
• Establishes and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) for credit issuance, collections, write-offs, and recovery rates.
• Drives initiatives to improve portfolio quality, risk-adjusted returns, and collection effectiveness.
• Provides regular reporting and analysis to senior leadership on portfolio performance and risk exposure.
• Oversees all collection activities, ensuring timely follow-up, recovery, and resolution of outstanding balances.
• Reviews and directs actions related to delinquent accounts, returned markers, and walk/roll activity.
• Presents monthly credit and collections updates to leadership and credit committees.
• Partners with legal and compliance teams on escalated recovery and enforcement actions.
• Ensures adherence to all internal controls, regulatory requirements, and Tribal gaming regulations.
• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of customer financial data and credit information.
• Oversees daily monitoring of credit activity, returns, and risk indicators.
• Ensure all credit operations are conducted in accordance with company policy and ethical guidelines.
• Supports Player Development by facilitating credit access for premium and VIP customers.
• Maintains executive-level relationships to support high-value customer decisions and approvals.
• Ensures a high level of guest service and professionalism, even in adverse credit decisions.
• Provides guidance to teams on communicating credit outcomes effectively while maintaining customer relationships.
• Reviews gaming history, financial data, and customer behavior to support credit decision-making and risk mitigation.
• Analyzes trends in credit usage, collections performance, and customer activity to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Recommends enhancements to systems, reporting, and operational processes.
• Serves as key liaison between casino operations, finance, compliance, and player development.
• Supports enterprise initiatives related to credit systems, process standardization, and operational efficiency.
• Promotes a culture of accountability, integrity, and customer service excellence.
• Acts as a role model and reinforces organizational values.
• Leads training and development initiatives to improve technical expertise and service delivery.
• Attend conferences, public and professional meetings.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field strongly preferred.
• Three (3) years of Casino Credit Management experience with manager level experience is preferred.
• Two (2) years of supervisory casino credit experience and casino credit operations, underwriting, and collections management required.
• Strong knowledge of casino operations, credit risk management, and internal controls.
• Proficiency with financial systems and reporting tools (e.g. credit systems, excel).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills, including ability to interact with senior leaders and VIP customers.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior experience opening new properties/outlets strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Everi PitExpress or NRT e-marker strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or GED, required. 
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Catawba Gaming License. 
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:  

•  Must be proficient in computer knowledge to include keyboarding skills, all Microsoft Office applications, email usage, and database, spreadsheets, and word processing software.  
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms including with outside contacts and all levels of team members.
• Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.  
• Review, comprehend, analyze, and assimilate reports, information generated on and by the computer and other necessary documentation.
• This position spends time on the Casino floor and is subject to varying levels of crowds and noise, and the severity of which depends upon guest volume.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (may occasionally be exposed to secondhand cigarette smoke). 
• Ability to work in tight, enclosed, and windowless environments. 

Physical Requirements  

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; Frequent standing; walking; use of hands to finger, handle, or feel. Ability to bend to open/use lower drawers or cabinetry; to talk, hear, and see. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
