Position responsibilities:

• Manage daily finance department functions: accounts receivable, credit & collections, tax
• Responsible for weekly aging review (WIC, Wolter) and maintain company aging goals
• Handle customer disputes – work with department mgrs to resolve issues, negotiate to resolution
• Analyze credit to determine terms and approve large equipment sales.
• Manage the review of new customer tax and credit limits
• Approve accounts for 3^rd party collections (attorney, agency involvement)
• Manage and follow up on all bankruptcy related items
• Review credit card and Creditsafe statements, journal entries
• Process monthly account reconciliations and reports.
• Manage month end A/R close (WIC, Wolter)
• Manage credit staff: daily issues and concerns, employee performance evaluations, department meetings.
• Perform regular analysis of collection staff productivity and workflow of department. Assist in development of staff & process improvement.
• Review and approve sales tax related issues – coordinate and manage sales & use tax audit.
• Perform and delegate audit requests
• Back up Credit Operations Manager
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Essential skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with major in Accounting/Finance
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
• Management: ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Planning: ability to think ahead and plan over a one-to-two year time span
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
• Strong computer proficiency
• Commitment to company vision and mission
