Jeremy Hodge Auto Group is looking for an experienced, highly capable Office Manager / Accounting Operations Leader to support two of our dealership locations.

We need someone who understands accounting, catches problems, follows through, protects confidential information, and isn't afraid to take ownership.

Most importantly, we want someone who can build strong processes and elevate the people around them.

SIGN-ON BONUS OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE

Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus based on verifiable experience, qualifications and dealership accounting background.

WHAT WE NEED

This position will help oversee the accounting and administrative operations of two dealership locations.

Responsibilities may include:

• Accounts payable and accounts receivable

• General ledger accounting

• Bank and account reconciliations

• Schedule review and reconciliation

• Dealership transaction and deal processing

• Month-end accounting

• Payroll and personnel-document support

• Cash controls

• Vendor management

• Record retention

• Internal controls and compliance

• Financial and operational reporting

• Identifying and resolving discrepancies

• Developing written procedures and checklists

• Training and cross-training office personnel

This person must be able to work effectively between both stores and help establish consistent processes across the organization.

WE NEED SOMEONE WE CAN TRUST.

AUTOMOTIVE ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE

Previous dealership accounting experience is strongly preferred, including experience with areas such as:

• Automotive Dealer Management Systems (DMS)

• Deal processing

• Vehicle inventory accounting

• Factory receivables

• Parts and service accounting

• Warranty accounting

• Floorplan reconciliation

• Accounting schedules

• Month-end close

• Payroll

• Accounts payable / receivable

However, automotive experience isn't the only thing we're looking for.

We would rather hire an exceptional accounting professional who can learn than an experienced person who has stopped learning.
