Through supporting the Operations organization, the Assistant Operations Controller must have significant manufacturing and inventory costing experience, as well as business partnering skills related to remote Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics & Distribution, and Human Resources functions. S/He will be responsible for overseeing all facets of the financial impact of the Americas operational footprint including accounting for factory and distribution center operations, and intercompany and externally sourced product. The Assistant Operations Controller will perform and manage all accounting related to the monthly close process, standard cost maintenance, internal and external financial reporting, analysis of business performance, and internal controls as well as policy development and implementation for all functions that are not considered general ledger functions that are performed by the regional and/or group head office. The new Assistant Operations Controller will provide comprehensive Accounting and relationship-building skills and services to support the overall business, providing a foundation for accurate and timely business performance reporting and analysis.
