Summary

The Assistant Controller supports the Controller in overseeing all accounting and financial reporting functions for the Company’s mining and mineral processing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and maintaining strong internal controls. The Assistant Controller works closely with operations, maintenance, and metallurgical teams to provide financial insight that drives business performance.

The successful candidate will be required to work in the office three days per week during the first ninety days of employment, at which time other hybrid options will be discussed.

This position will provide functional oversight to accounting staff.

Work Environment

This position operates primarily in an office environment with regular interaction in an active mining and processing facility. Occasional exposure to plant conditions, including noise, dust, and industrial operations, may occur. Appropriate PPE is required when entering operational areas.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, typically Monday through Friday. Additional hours may be required during month-end close, audits, and budgeting cycles. The successful candidate will be required to work in the office three days per week during the first ninety days of employment, at which time other hybrid options will be discussed.

Travel

Limited travel may be required for training, audits, or corporate meetings.
