Accounts Receivable Specialist

Corrigan Krause is assisting their client in the search for an Accounts Receivable Specialist located in Lorain County, Ohio. As the AR Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the company's accounting and administrative areas. 

Responsibilities

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Manage full-cycle accounts receivable, including invoicing, cash application, collections, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and process customer billing, including progress billing, AIA billing, and lien waivers
• Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balances 
• Ensure accurate job costing and billing alignment 
• Assist with timecard review and approvals using systems such as BusyBusy and WorkMax
• Process intercompany billings 
• Support construction payroll processes as needed 
• Utilize Foundation Software, Microsoft Office, and Excel for daily tasks and reporting 
• Handle additional administrative or accounting-related responsibilities as they arise

• Prior experience in accounts receivable, billing, or construction accounting required
• Experience with progress billing or AIA billing required 
• Familiarity with Foundation Software is preferred
• Experience with construction payroll systems or time tracking tools (e.g., BusyBusy, WorkMax) is a plus 
• Notary Public certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Participation in random drug testing program in accordance with company policy
