Accountabilities / Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated Senior Accounts Receivable Rep with an extensive knowledge of claims reimbursement and collection efforts for Managed Care, Medicare, Medicaid, Workers Comp, Commercial plans, etc. We are looking for a top performer with an extensive knowledge of billing, collections and reimbursement methodologies with the ability to effectively manage a team that delivers results.

• Assist Supervisor/Manager with oversight of A/R Denials Specialist team
• Serve as the primary resource to answer questions for teammates
• Review adjustments submitted by staff for accuracy
• Process approved adjustments in the RCM platform
• Review refunds submitted by staff for accuracy
• Review transfer requests submitted by staff for accuracy
• Perform paysource (payor change) updates on patient accounts when applicable for corrected billing
• Review A/R for assigned Centers with Supervisor/Manager
• Serve as the primary point of contact with Center/Practice front office staff for revenue cycle related items
• Communicate with Supervisor/Manager regarding payor and account issues in a timely manner.
• Effectively communicate any relevant information to the Revenue Cycle Management Department to either seek help in extraordinary issues or to help another team member resolve an outstanding issue.
• Any other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of Two to Five years of recent Healthcare A/R experience
• ASC, healthcare experience is required
