Accounts Receivable Clerk

TPG is seeking a focused and driven Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our service company’s call center team in the Pleasant Hill area on a temporary-to-hire basis immediately. This role is responsible for collecting on outstanding customer accounts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, persistence, and the ability to remain productive throughout the entire shift. 

What You Will Do 

• Accounts Receivable Clerk handles inbound and outbound collection calls for the duration of your shift 
• Communicate with customers regarding past-due balances and secure payments 
• A\R clerk accurately documents account activity and payment arrangements 
• Work assigned administrative and account-related tasks when not actively on a call 
• Meet daily productivity and performance expectations 

Work Environment & Expectations 

• This Accounts Receivable Clerk is a call center–based position with continuous phone and account work throughout the shift 
• Employees are expected to remain productive at all times; idle time is monitored 
• The A\R role is fast-paced and performance-driven, with little downtime during working hours 
• This position is best suited for individuals who are comfortable working independently in a structured environment 

What We are Looking For 

• Previous accounts receivable, collections, or call center experience preferred 
• Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills 
• Ability to stay focused and professional in high-pressure situations 
• Reliable attendance and strong time-management skills 
• Comfortable working on a computer and phone simultaneously
