Accounts Payable Representative

About the Role:  We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk to join our dynamic ?nance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong head for numbers and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced office environment. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our vendors are paid accurately and on time while maintaining accurate ?nancial records. Reports To:  VP of Finance 

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Management: Review all incoming invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment; prioritize invoices according to vendor payment terms.
• Payment Processing: Process all vendor payments accurately and efficiently.
• Vendor Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for all vendor inquiries, responding professionally and in a timely manner. Reconcile vendor statements, proactively researching and correcting any discrepancies.
• Compliance & Record Keeping: Manage 1099 maintenance and reporting. Maintain ?les and documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with standard company accounting practices.
• Financial Support: Assist the ?nance team with month-end closing procedures and take on additional projects as needed to support department goals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years of dedicated Accounts Payable experience.
• Education: High school diploma required; college coursework or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel. Experience with Acumatica and Ramp is preferred.
• Work Style: Highly organized with a strong attention to detail. Capable of working proactively, independently, and collaboratively within a team
• Clear Background Check & Drug Testing (provided)
• Must have exceptional attention to detail & leadership capabilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite products preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
