Sisters of Mercy Urgent Care is a nonprofit, mission-driven healthcare organization serving Western North Carolina. We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Payable Coordinator to help keep our financial operations running smoothly while supporting a team dedicated to compassionate patient care.
What You’ll Do
- Process invoices and payment requests using Ramp, following approval workflows.
- Review and code invoices to the correct accounts and cost centers.
- Set up and maintain vendor records, including W-9s and payment details.
- Prepare and run payments (ACH, check, and card).
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Process employee expense reimbursements.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and support timely payments.
- Maintain organized records for audits and compliance.
- Assist with month-end close, including reconciliations and reporting.
- Prepare annual 1099 filings.
- Manage unclaimed property processes, including outreach and reporting.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of accounts payable experience.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
- Experience with Ramp, NetSuite, or similar systems.
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stay organized, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
- Clear communication and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Part-time (approximately 20–25 hours per week).
- Monday–Friday, daytime hours.
- Onsite at our Asheville business office.
- Occasional extra hours during month-end close.
