Accounts Payable Clerk

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions and maintaining positive working relationships with vendors and internal departments. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting established deadlines. The Accounts Payable Clerk contributes to the financial integrity of the organization by ensuring accurate recordkeeping and adherence to hospital policies and procedures and supports the hospital's mission, goals, and philosophy.

Pre-Employment Requirements: 

• We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.

Education Requirements: 

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of one (1) year of accounts payable or related accounting experience required.
• Experience with a computerized accounts payable or financial management system preferred.
• Proficiency with a 10-key calculator, Microsoft Office applications, and general computer software required.
• Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred but not required.
