Overview
Long Prairie Packing, LLC, an American Foods Group Company has an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk at our Long Prairie, MN plant.
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will:
- Assist purchasing department with matching purchase orders to receiving and invoicing and reconciling any differences.
- Code corrects general ledger account numbers on each invoice along with due dates.
- Enter invoices into A/P system and generate payments of checks, wires, and intercompany payments.
- Process raw material purchases and payments.
- Work with corporate office to set up new vendors.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
- Generate reports as needed.
- Assist with month end closing.
- Provide supporting documentation for audits.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 years of accounts payable experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior accounts payable experience.
- Prior experience with MAS or other A/P packages.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Basic PC skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Must be able to perform job duties with minimal direction.
- Good work and attendance record.
