Accounts Payable Clerk

- Gather and print all incoming invoices.
- Review invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Properly mark invoices with the correct accounts, dates, purchase orders, and other relevant details.
- Enter invoices into accounting system for payment processing.
- Review vendor statements.
- Collect and match receiving paperwork and other supporting documentation.
- Access and manage records as needed to support internal and external audits.
- Distribute incoming mail and process relevant documentation.
- Engage in minimal correspondence with vendors regarding invoice payment statuses to ensure timely processing.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or accounts payable role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Familiarity with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
