Accounts Payable Clerk

As an Accounts Payable Clerk with Automated, you will ensure accuracy in vendor documents and internal reporting of expenses for the company. This is a heavy data entry position that will take a strong eye for detail and great organizational skills.
Essential Responsibilities:
· Perform day to day financial transactions which include verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording payables.
· Scan, attach, and process all invoices.
· Call vendors and locate missing invoices.
· Process accruals and match all statements.
· Assist Accounting with all duties as assigned.
Other Responsibilities:
· Completes various clean-ups, audits, and other duties as assigned or as necessary.
Organizational Responsibilities:
· Identifies areas for improvement and offers suggestions to improve the efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the company.
Job Type: Part-time 20 Hours a week
Salary: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour depending on experience

Required Qualifications:
· Demonstrate ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in order to comprehend and complete required documents, answer vendor questions, and provide management support.
· Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
· Sense of urgency, detailed, organizational skills, and functions well in a team environment.
· Demonstrate ability to represent the company in a dependable and professional manner.
· Ability to work independently with little supervision.
· Maintain a positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
· 10-key proficient.
· High School diploma, GED or an employment history that demonstrates the required skills needed for job.
· Prior experience with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products.
Physical Demands:
· Applicant must be able to sit for long periods of time.
· Must be able to pass a physical agility test, background and drug test.
· Routine local travel will be required and necessary for the accomplishment of some of the daily responsibilities of this position.
