Wagner is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to support our Accounting team during a temporary assignment from September through January. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accounts payable or general accounting experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do
As an Accounts Payable Associate, you'll play an important role in ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time by:
- Processing vendor invoices and matching them to purchase orders
- Coding invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts
- Preparing weekly check runs and electronic payments
- Reconciling accounts payable transactions
- Resolving vendor questions and payment issues professionally
- Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Supporting audits and maintaining organized financial records
- Collaborating with Purchasing, Customer Service, and Accounting to ensure timely invoice processing
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Professional communication and customer service skills
