Accounting Intern

Accounting Intern, Part-time

Duties include:

• Pull monthly reports and review data
• Scanning
• Assist Accounting Department with creating monthly invoices
• Data entry in accounting software
• Enter monthly journal entries
• Assist with Front Desk coverage, as needed
• Follow our Company’s standard accounting processes
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting (or related, i.e. Finance)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Self-starters preferred!
• Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks preferred, but not required)
• Must be drug free and maintain a clear appearance
• Must be felony free and have valid driver’s license
• While scheduling will remain flexible and accommodate schooling, applicant must contribute at least 20-25 hours per week (intervals of four hours or more)
• Preferred availability of Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
