We are in search of an Accounting Clerk with 2+ years of experience. This role that assists the Controller with financial preparation, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and in a variety of other areas. We seek a qualified candidate who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Assist the Controller with Proforma preparation as needed
- Ensure the Company is in compliance with all state DOR, SOS, and payroll tax rules and regulations with assistance from the Controller
- Providing support and information to external accounting team
- Assist the Controller with auction product payments process
- Maintain and update accounting and HR related processes in Company knowledgebase
- Provide administrative support, including processing expense reports, organizing office supplies, and maintaining essential stock
Requirements
- Associate degree in accounting or finance, or 2+ years of accounting and/or finance experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to explain relevant financial changes to the Controller and upper management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools
- Intermediate knowledge of accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain multiple tasks and meet deadlines
