Accounting Clerk

Accounting QA needs 2+ years’ experience

Accounting QA requires:

Ø  Expert using excel functions (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas/data calculations etc.)

Ø  Strong analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues in payment systems.

Ø  Ability to -

Ø  Clearly communicate verbally to team members and branch managers, as well as possibly customers

Ø  Synthesize findings in writing and make recommendations for procedural changes.

Ø  These would be nice to have-

Ø  Basic understanding of SQL / ability to run simple queries

Ø  Familiarity using communication and collaboration tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Confluence.

Accountant QA duties:

Ø  Provide routine and clerical support

Ø   Audit payment transaction entries and transmissions – detect and correct errors, managing to a 0% error rate

Ø  Prepare reports summarizing product enrollment and maintenance rates

Ø  Type correspondence and transaction documents

Ø  Review invoices in multiple systems for accuracy

Ø  Review and reconcile vendor statements

Ø  Work with vendors as well as internal team members to resolve issues

Ø  Handle stop payment and void check requests

Ø  Assist with processing of returned payments

Ø  Track errors, summarize findings, and recommend solutions to reduce errors

Ø  Other Special Project work as needed
