Financial Controller-3 month project Monday-Friday 7:45am-4:30pm Pay rate $65-75 DOE

Qualifications:

· Must be a US citizen or permanent legal resident. · Must be able to read, write, and understand English. · Must have the ability to work efficiently and work well in a team environment. · Must be punctual and have good attendance. · Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field. · 4-7 years of progressive accounting and/or financial analysis experience · Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle accounting operations · Experience preparing financial statements and supporting external audits

Main Functions: · Oversee all general ledger activity, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes. · Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and banking relationships. · Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP. · Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting. · Maintain fixed asset schedules, depreciation tracking, and capital expenditure reports. · Establish, monitor, and enforce internal financial controls and accounting policies. · Develop and maintain operating budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses. · Prepare management reports and ad hoc analyses for leadership review. · Analyze manufacturing costs, including labor, materials, and overhead; identify cost reduction opportunities.
