The Accountant II role is position that will focus on general accounting responsibilities while also managing fixed asset accounting. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Duties/Responsibilities:
General ledger accounting and GL book maintenance
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Process and manage accounts payable invoices when needed
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payment
Record and maintain fixed asset records in the accounting system
Conduct physical inventory counts of fixed assets and reconcile discrepancies
Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
Prepare and analyze reports on fixed asset activity
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications – Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in finance or accounting
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA/CMA
Knowledge of GAAP accounting standards
Cost Accounting experience
Knowledge/Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
