What you'll do

• Own cost accounting, reconciliation, and financial analysis across programs and departments.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario planning.
• Own ERP integration and optimization, including Workday, identifying the best approach to improve processes and resolve gaps.
• Leverage technology, automation, and AI to streamline financial and reconciliation processes.
• Partner with senior leadership to provide actionable financial insights and drive strategic decisions.
• Lead high-impact financial projects and process improvements from strategy through implementation.
• Drive standardization and scalability across accounting, budgeting, and financial operations.

What we’re looking for

• Understanding how financial systems connect.
• Reconciliation Ownership: Ability to own the reconciliation process end-to-end, identify gaps, and determine the best approach to fix and optimize it.
• Technology & Automation: Ability to leverage technology, automation, and AI to improve financial processes.
• Python: Experience with Python is a plus, but not required.
• ERP Experience: Experience with Protheus (TOTVS) is preferred and with integrating this with Workday, but not required.

What else you need to know

This role is based in our Los Angeles office. Atoms is a company driven by invention and continuous change - we are constantly reimagining our industries, building new products, and refining how we operate. We do our best work together. That’s why all of our office-based teams work onsite, five days a week.

The base salary range for this role is $93,000 - $105,000 per year.

Actual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package. You may also be eligible for equity awards and an annual performance-based bonus.
