Vice President, FP&A & Operational Finance

NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a hospitality organization to identify a Vice President of FP&A & Operational Finance in Dallas, TX. This role is fully onsite and will lead enterprise financial planning, operational finance, and performance management while partnering closely with executive leadership to drive growth across a multi-unit business.

This position is ideal for a strategic finance executive who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, partnering directly with operations, and building scalable financial processes in a high-growth, performance-driven environment.

Required:

• 10+ years of progressive FP&A and operational finance leadership experience within the restaurant industry

• Proven experience leading enterprise planning, forecasting, financial modeling, and operational performance management

• Strong understanding of multi-unit restaurant operations, including labor, food costs, pricing, and four-wall profitability

• Experience presenting financial strategy and business performance to executive leadership, Boards, or investors

• Demonstrated success leading high-performing finance teams while partnering cross-functionally with operations and executive leadership

Preferred:

• Experience in private equity-backed, high-growth, or pre-IPO organizations

• MBA, CPA, CFA, or other advanced finance credentials

• Expertise in long-range planning, capital allocation, and investor-grade financial reporting

• Experience leveraging technology, automation, and AI to improve finance operations and reporting

• Executive presence with a collaborative, hands-on leadership style and a passion for mentoring future finance leaders
