Treasury group at American Express enables profitable business growth through management of the company’s balance sheet including liquidity, capital distribution, and global money movement strategies. Treasury also plays a key role in identifying, measuring and addressing financial and operational risks. We ensure that the right amount of capital, funding, and liquidity is in the right currency, in the right place, at the right time, with the right controls. The Vice President serves as the senior Treasury leader for Cayman Islands (“CI”) legal entities and partners across Finance, Risk, Compliance, Technology banking providers and enterprise Treasury teams globally. The Vice President has overarching responsibility for Intercompany Funding, Foreign Exchange Exposure Management, Global FX Rate Setting and related Controls activities. The role is accountable for strategies that support business objectives while maintaining strong governance, regulatory compliance, operational resiliency and risk-management practices.
