Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Tax Senior Manager to join our team in our Wayne, PA office location. Our new office is anticipated to officially open in September 2026. This is a hybrid position with an expectation of three days per week onsite. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing firm.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leading engagement teams and overseeing the performance, development, and utilization of Managers, Seniors, Associates, and Staff Accountants
- Managing key client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor, and providing strategic tax planning guidance
- Reviewing engagement economics, monitoring profitability, and ensuring effective resource allocation across multiple engagements
- Evaluating significant tax risks, technical matters, and quality control considerations while providing guidance on complex issues
- Driving the development and implementation of tax strategies to address client needs and emerging regulatory changes
- Mentoring and coaching professional staff while supporting recruiting, retention, and talent development initiatives
- Contributing to practice growth through business development activities, networking, market visibility, and identifying additional service opportunities for clients
- Developing technical expertise and thought leadership through training, industry involvement, speaking engagements, and research initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree in taxation or equivalent preferred
- 7+ years of progressive tax preparation, review and supervisory experience
- CPA license is required
- Proficient with a computer software packages and platforms including Microsoft Office Suite, Tax software, ProSystems Engagement and CCH Axcess
- Industry agnostic experience considered; Construction, manufacturing & distribution, real estate, and financial services industry experience desired
- Strong tax accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP, tax compliance, corporate consolidated returns, consolidated federal tax returns, partnership returns, and combined state tax returns
- Ability to conduct detailed review of various tax returns
- Ability to manage staff on multiple engagements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- CPA license is required
- Ability to work in a team environment, supervise staff and lead projects
- Ability to work additional hours as needed
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Maintains a high level of professionalism and consistently demonstrates respect for others
