Join us. 8+ years recent experience in public accounting, specialization with clients in a particular industry is helpful Must be able to remain in a stationary sitting position for at least 50% of the time. Must be able to lift at least 20lbs– specific job duties may require additional lifting to move, transport, position and install equipment Frequently positions self to bend and lift packages. Occasional moving & lifting of equipment; bending, lifting, climbing required to position self to maintain computers during engagements. Person in position needs to occasionally move about the inside of the office to access machinery, cabinets, etc. Person in position frequently communicates with individuals who have inquires. Must be able to exchange information in these situations. Ability to work in a high stress environment. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license are required including a clean driving record. Minimum levels of auto insurance coverage are required. Ability to travel locally, work overtime and weekends is required. Ability to travel overnight or internationally may be required. Tax Sr. Managers supervise engagements and assume full responsibility for tax compliance and various projects relative to assigned client engagements including preparation and/or review of corporate, partnership, and individual income tax returns; tax research and preparation of client memorandum, and preparation of quarterly federal and state estimated tax payments. Tax Sr. Managers have specific practice development goals to drive revenue and client management responsibilities. TechnicalMake recommendations on return preparation regarding accuracy and tax savings opportunities lead review processPlan income tax items for budgeting and cash flowMonitor the effective tax rate, as well as quarterly and annual SEC financial statement tax related disclosuresKeep abreast of latest developments as they affect GAAP and the Firm’s standards and policiesReview returns for individual, trust, partnership, corporate and foreign tax clients, including federal, foreign, state and local tax returns, estimated payments and extensions, and Federal and State tax auditsResearch and consult on various tax matters; utilize tax-related software to prepare and process returns and research tax mattersRespond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authoritiesDetermine appropriate tax objectives, scope and methodology and actively participate in decision making with client’s management to understand the broader impact of current decisionsLead and plan tax engagementsManage activities of staff assigned to engagementProvide thorough and effective in review of staff work product while providing constructive feedback and identifying staff developmental needsExamine and analyze accounting records to determine financial status of clients and prepares financial reports concerning operating proceduresHandle of periodic projects (assisting with billing, special analysis requested by Partners, etc)Use technical skills to develop meaningful, management advisory itemsRegularly leverage available technology and other resources to maximize technical application to project Staff DevelopmentDelegates and manages the work of consultants in practice;
