Note: Qualified candidates must hold an active CPA or EA credential, have 5+ years of experience with individual, business, and multistate tax returns (Forms 1040, 1065, and 1120-S), 2+ years serving as a final tax return reviewer and signer, and 2+ years managing tax teams.

Job Description
- Lead the daily operations of an established tax office while ensuring exceptional client service and efficient workflows.
- Review and sign individual, partnership, S corporation, and multistate tax returns with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Manage, mentor, and develop tax professionals while creating a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
- Oversee tax season planning, deadlines, quality control, and client deliverables.
- Build lasting relationships with business owners and high-net-worth individuals while providing valuable tax guidance.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline operations, and introduce new technologies.
- Collaborate with remote team members to balance workloads and maintain excellent service standards.
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of the practice through outstanding leadership and client relationships.
Qualifications
- Active CPA or EA credential in good standing.
- 5+ years of experience preparing and reviewing Forms 1040, 1065, 1120-S, and multistate tax returns.
- 2+ years of experience serving as a final tax return reviewer and signer.
- 2+ years of experience managing and developing tax teams.
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance, review processes, and client advisory services.
- Experience with professional tax software, ideally ATX or UltraTax.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- A proactive mindset with an interest in technology, process improvements, and modern tax practices.
