Tax Manager

HornBill has a client in Providence, Rhode Island (RI) seeking a Tax Manager to join their growing organization. Responsibilities include:

• Identify client issues and conflicts and communicate solution options
• Manage staff on engagement deliverables
• Review complex tax returns
• Strategize tax planning
• Provide recommendations and guidance to clients on achieving goals and assist in identifying opportunities for growth
• Researching tax issues
• Assist in mentoring, coaching, training, supervising, and evaluating staff

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Master's degree in Taxation or related field preferred
• 6+ years of technical tax experience in public accounting or related field
• 3 years in a managerial role
• CPA, Enrolled Agent (EA), or equivalent certification is a must
• Able to manage all aspects of client engagements
• Strong communication skills
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Proficient use of applicable technology
