Tax Supervisor / Manager

HornBill's Long Island based CPA firm is seeking a Tax Supervisor/Manager in Babylon, New York (NY). This is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking future advancement into a leadership role (future partner?). Responsibilities:

• Prepare complex tax returns
• Review tax returns prepared by staff
• Assist with tax audits
• Serve as the primary contact for clients
• Write articles for publication
• Identify opportunities to contribute to the growth and development of the Firm
• Support the development of staff by providing on the job training and constructive feedback
• Participate in the Firm's mentor program
• Develop/conduct tax training seminars for staff

• Bachelor's in Accounting
• Master's degree in Taxation preferred
• CPA preferred
• 5+ years tax experience in public accounting
• Trust and Estates background preferred
• Experience with ProSystem FX Tax preferred
• Effective communication, research, analytical and writing skills
