Tax Manager Healthcare

We are seeking experienced Supervisors and Managers to join the firm's Healthcare Tax practice, specializing in skilled nursing facility (SNF) clients.

In this high-impact position, you will lead complex client engagements and tax teams, providing strategic tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to clients in skilled nursing facilities and their ancillary entities. You will work directly with executive client leadership to shape strategic tax outcomes for a growing healthcare portfolio.

• Client & Engagement Leadership: Manage and review complex federal, state, and local income tax returns for partnerships, pass-through entities, corporations, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals within the healthcare space.

• Strategic Planning & Advisory: Proactively identify tax efficiency opportunities, structure transactions, and present strategic planning solutions that deliver measurable value.

• Team Development & Mentorship: Lead, manage, and mentor staff and senior tax professionals, fostering technical development, engagement efficiency, and career progression.

• Practice & Workflow Management: Oversee multiple client engagements simultaneously, maintaining high-quality service standards, engagement economics, and timeline execution.

• Client Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for business leaders and finance teams, providing proactive, solutions-oriented guidance year-round.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with firm leadership and cross-functional teams (including healthcare assurance and advisory) to deliver seamless client service.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s in Taxation (MST) or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

• Active CPA certification required for Manager.

• 5+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience with demonstrated engagement management experience.

• Healthcare tax experience required; specialized expertise in skilled nursing facilities (SNF) is a plus.

• Proven track record of team leadership, engagement economics management, and client relationship building.

• Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and executive presence
