$235,000 – $390,000+

Aligned Talent Acquisition is continually seeking experienced Tax Associate Attorneys for opportunities with Am Law 50, Am Law 100, Am Law 200, regional, and boutique law firms throughout the Chicago market.

If you have experience advising clients on sophisticated federal, state, and international tax matters, I'd love to connect.

Ideal Background

• 3–7 years of tax law experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience advising clients on corporate, partnership, and LLC taxation

• Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, reorganizations, and financing transactions from a tax perspective

• Experience structuring domestic and cross-border transactions to achieve tax-efficient outcomes

• Experience with partnership tax, fund formation, executive compensation, or international tax is a plus

• Strong drafting, analytical, research, and client counseling skills

• Ability to independently manage sophisticated tax matters while collaborating with multidisciplinary deal teams

• Excellent academic credentials

• LL.M. in Taxation is a plus but not required

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

• Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted
