Tax & Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Accounting 
• Manage client projects 
• Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements  
• Identifying client issues/deficiencies and assist with recommending solutions 
• Managing client compliance deadlines
• Manage and maintain client relationships 
• Communicating frequently and effectively with client contacts
• Executing projects in a timely, efficient manner 
• Onboarding new clients
• Tax
• Prepare client tax projections
• Assist in preparing & reviewing individual and business tax returns
• Advisory 
• Conduct client meetings
• Financial statement analysis
• Providing advice to clients centered on their accounting and finance functions 

General

• Managing staff assigned
• Manage miscellaneous projects assigned by Partner
• Manage and conduct staff meetings
• Travel to McComb & Company office or client location as necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field
• Active CPA or EA license preferred
• 3+ years of experience in accounting and tax services
