The Staff Pad has partnered with a healthcare organization in Russellville, Alabama seeking a detail -oriented and driven Staff Accountant to join their finance team.<\/span>

  What You’ll Do<\/span>
  <\/p>

  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries and maintain the General Ledger<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and month -end close<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reviews<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Compile and analyze financial and statistical data<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Support financial operations across clinics and home health entities<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Partner with internal teams to support business and finance initiatives<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Assist with audits, cost reports, and compliance processes<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Work closely with leadership on special projects and financial analysis <\/span>

    What We’re Looking For<\/span>
    <\/p>

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • 2–3 years of accounting experience<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong understanding of:<\/span>
      <\/li>
      • General Ledger accounting<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Financial reporting<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Reconciliations and month -end processes<\/span>
        <\/li><\/ul>
      • Healthcare or hospital accounting experience<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Experience supporting multi -entity or multi -site operations <\/span>
        <\/li>
      • High level of attention to detail and accuracy<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Ability to manage confidential financial data with discretion<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments<\/span>
