Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and supporting various accounting functions across multiple platforms. Duties

• Prepare, review, and record journal entries with precision, ensuring accuracy in the general ledger and adherence to accounting standards.

• Conduct account reconciliations, including balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis.

• Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payments while maintaining detailed records.

• Assist with annual audits.

• Support financial reporting activities by preparing financial statements and assisting with budgeting and tax-related tasks.

Skills

• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and corporate accounting practices.

• Excellent analytical skills for account analysis and account reconciliation tasks.

• Strong understanding of financial concepts including journal entries, general ledger accounting, and double-entry bookkeeping.

• Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and supporting audit activities.

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting

Qualifications / Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance

• Healthcare environment is a plus
