HornBill has a client is seeking a Staff Accountant in Washington, District of Columbia (DC). Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reviewing account payable
- Approving expense reports
- Managing monthly credit card reconciliations
- Assisting with receipt management of monthly bank and advance accounts
- Managing A/R, preparing special one- off invoices and reports
- Identifying process improvements, assisting with preparation of month- end close
- Assisting with fiscal year- end audit and 990 tax return, and updating accounting manual and internal control process documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- 2+ years of experience with grant management
- Audit support experience preferred
