Staff Accountant

What You’ll Do:

• Support day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Assist with monthly close and account reconciliations.
• Help process invoices, payments, and employee expenses.
• Support project accounting and job cost tracking.
• Assist with billing, collections, and maintaining accurate project financial information.
• Prepare and maintain accounting reports and schedules.
• Help identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Support year-end close, audits, and other financial reporting needs.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting documentation.
• Work with project and operations teams to help answer accounting and financial questions.
• Identify ways to make accounting processes more efficient and effective.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 
• 1+ year of accounting experience; experience in the construction, architecture, or engineering industry is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.) 
•  Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Proactive problem-solving skills and willingness to ask questions
