Staff Accountant

An outstanding, full-time opening has become available for an individual with 2+ years of experience in Public Accounting as a Staff Accountant near the Lander, WY area. This position would earn a lucrative base salary, a benefits package including comprehensive medical and dental insurance, and other great perks.

Job Description:

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports
• Prepare tax returns and compute taxes owed, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements.
• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations
• Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
• Work with Accounting Management staff to maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures.

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration.

• Please DO NOT APPLY unless you have at least 2 years of work experience in accounting and auditing.
• Preferred at least 2 years of experience in a CPA Firm and be proficient with the following entity types: Individual, C Corporation, S Corporation, Partnership, Trust, Estate
• MUST have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
