Position Summary
ReGenesis Corp. is seeking a technically capable and adaptable Staff Accountant / Corporate Accountant to support accounting and financial reporting activities across multiple manufacturing entities.
This position combines traditional accounting responsibilities with modern technology and automation initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced accounting professionals and a dedicated programming team to help develop fast, automated, near-real-time financial reporting solutions that provide management with timely and reliable business insights.
The ideal candidate possesses a solid foundation in accounting, enjoys learning new systems, embraces technology, and is interested in automation, artificial intelligence, and process improvement. Experience with every technology platform is not required. We are willing to train candidates who demonstrate strong accounting aptitude, analytical ability, attention to detail, and a desire to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with accounting and financial reporting for multiple manufacturing entities.
- Prepare, review, and analyze income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and supporting schedules.
- Maintain accurate general ledger activity, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
- Collaborate with senior accounting personnel to improve reporting accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
- Work alongside the programming team to develop automated workflows, dashboards, management reports, and exception reporting tools.
- Learn and utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as a primary accounting and reporting platform.
- Utilize approved AI tools, including ChatGPT, for research, documentation, data analysis, and process-improvement initiatives.
- Validate automated reports and investigate discrepancies, unusual balances, variances, and data-quality concerns.
- Assist with chart-of-account standardization and reporting consistency across multiple entities.
- Analyze actual results against budgets, forecasts, prior periods, and business expectations.
- Document accounting procedures, reporting methodologies, and internal controls.
- Support audit requests and special projects as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality, professional judgment, data integrity, and appropriate accounting controls when utilizing technology and AI-assisted tools.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Understanding of financial statements and accounting fundamentals.
- Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close activities preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable learning new technologies and software systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power BI, Power Query, SQL, or similar tools is a plus but not required.
- Manufacturing or multi-entity accounting experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work effectively with accountants, programmers, operational personnel, and management.
