Position Summary

Responsible for processing company payrolls, payroll analysis, payroll G/L files, employee deductions and maintenance of all employee payroll records within Dayforce Payroll. Core Responsibilities

Coordinates the timely and accurate processing of employee payroll data utilizing Dayforce Payroll.  Initiates funding processes for net payroll, payroll taxes, and all deductions. Responds to employee requests for clarification of payroll calculations, and members of management for reporting of payroll information. Audits the recording of benefit deduction information in payroll using Dayforce Benefits. Monitors disability and workers' compensation payments. Manages employee tax levies and child support garnishments. Reconciles and audits contribution and loan data for 401(k) and HSA plans for outside service providers. Prepares monthly General Ledger interface data and appropriate payroll adjustments. Prepares various month-end and quarter-end reports and files needed by other departments and the DOL BLS. Develops, tests and deploys new payroll configurations to address changing business needs Responsible for establishing and adhering to all year-end and year-begin processes according to most current payroll regulations.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation helpful.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

A thorough understanding of payroll administration and payroll legislation is essential for this position. Experience with Dayforce HCM and Dayforce Payroll. Strong understanding of payroll accounting and GL entries. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and detail oriented Ability to analyze, interpret and implement current payroll legislation. Ability to respond to common inquiries from federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

This position is primarily sedentary and performed in an office or professional work environment. Essential functions include the ability to sit for extended periods, use a computer and other office equipment, communicate effectively, and occasionally move within the work area. This position is primarily office‑based with occasional travel required (up to 20%), including overnight travel as needed.

Supervisory Requirements (if applicable)

This role does not have direct supervisory or managerial responsibility.
