We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sourcing / Procurement Specialist to join our team and drive strategic sourcing initiatives across various categories. In this role, you will be responsible for managing procurement processes, negotiating contracts, and building strong supplier relationships to ensure the timely delivery of quality materials and services. Your expertise in procurement management, supply chain management, and ERP systems will be instrumental in optimizing costs and enhancing operational efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our organization’s growth by implementing innovative sourcing strategies and maintaining compliance with industry standards.Location: Fort WorthShift: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:45pm DutiesThe Sourcing / Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the acquisition of goods and services required to support company operations. This role focuses on supplier sourcing, cost control, contract compliance, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality standards and adherence to company procurement policies.· Key Responsibilities· Sourcing & Supplier Management· Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers based on cost, quality, capacity, and reliability· Request and analyze quotations, bids, and proposals from vendors· Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and contracts to achieve cost savings and value· Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and develop new sourcing channels· Procurement Operations· Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with approved budgets and authorization limits· Ensure all purchases comply with internal policies and approval workflows· Track order status and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery· Resolve issues related to pricing discrepancies, delivery delays, shortages, or quality concerns· Cost Control & Compliance· Monitor spending against budgets and procurement thresholds· Support cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives· Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and applicable regulations· Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation· Cross-Functional Coordination· Collaborate with engineering, production, finance, and warehouse teams to understand requirements· Support inventory planning and demand forecasting as needed· Assist in vendor performance reviews and corrective actions· Reporting & Analysis· Prepare procurement reports, including spend analysis and supplier performance metrics· Maintain procurement data within cloud systemsQualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferredExperience2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain (level may vary by role)Experience in manufacturing or operations environments preferredSkills & CompetenciesStrong negotiation and analytical skillsKnowledge of procurement best practices and sourcing strategiesProficiency with Rippling systems and Microsoft ExcelExcellent communication and vendor management skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational abilityWorking ConditionsOffice-based with occasional interaction with suppliers or warehouse/production areasMay require handling multiple priorities under tight deadlinesWorks cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Accounts Payable, Receiving, and other internal departments as required.#FW333
