HornBill's client, an industry leading International company is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant in center city Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (PA). This is an opportunity to work for growing company that is publicly traded, offers excellent compensation and benefits. Summary: This position is primarily focused on income tax compliance, reporting, research and planning, (opportunity for other special projects as they arise). A strong background in both federal and state tax compliance, ASC 740 as a well as strong research skills are needed. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA or MST is a plus)
- 2+ years relevant tax experience in public accounting or industry
- Experience in accounting for income taxes under ASC 740
- Solid Word, Excel, PowerPoint, spreadsheet and computer knowledge
- Strong analytical skills and ability to problem solve
- Ability to research and propose resolutions on tax issues
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
