What You’ll Own:
- Monthly bank reconciliations for various project bank accounts
- Prepare and reconcile gross potential rent for multiple properties
- Review monthly financials and ensure utilities are properly accounted for or accrued. Clean up and reclass items as needed.
- Compile and send quarterly reports related to property operations and financial information to investors and lenders.
- Assist in the coordination of the annual budgets
- Compile annual audit workpaper packet and work with auditors to address questions or open items that arise from their review.
- Participate in monthly portfolio review meeting for portfolio of properties assigned.
- Work closely with Regional Managers and Regional Vice Presidents related to the financial needs of the properties.
- Review / Approve weekly accounts payable requests for properties assigned.
- Work closely with accounts payable accountants, accounting managers, and property managers
Qualifications
Who You Are:
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to make intelligent and quick decisions, working well under pressure, and when faced with unexpected occurrences and delays.
- Ability to effectively multitask while analyzing and solving problems.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ years of intermediate level experience.
- Real Estate accounting experience preferred.
