Role description

The Senior Manager, Corporate FP&A is a finance leadership role responsible for translating company strategy, operational drivers, and business performance into accurate forecasts, investor-grade financial outputs, and clear Board and executive reporting. The role acts as a senior partner to the VP FP&A, CFO, Investor Relations, and executive leadership team, ensuring that financial information is consistent, defensible, decision-ready, and aligned with public-market expectations.

This role combines technical forecasting discipline, executive-level financial storytelling, and strong governance over assumptions, KPIs, variance analysis, and forward-looking financial communications.

In parallel with these responsibilities, this role carries lead accountability for corporate planning end to end: owning the annual operating plan, headcount and capital planning processes, and the implementation and ongoing administration of the company’s enterprise performance management (EPM) planning platform.

The successful candidate will be a disciplined and credible finance leader who improves forecast quality, builds confidence in financial outputs, and enables the CFO and executive team to communicate performance, outlook, risks, and opportunities with clarity. Success will be measured by the quality and reliability of guidance support, the consistency of Board and investor-grade materials, and the ability to create a single, trusted financial narrative across internal and external stakeholders.

Main activities

• Support the CFO, VP FP&A, and Investor Relations with financial content for earnings materials, investor presentations, analyst discussions, and investor Q&A preparation.
• Ensure financial messaging is clear, fact-based, consistent with the forecast, and supported by appropriate analysis and reconciliation.
• Convert complex financial, operational, and project information into concise messaging suitable for executive and external audiences.
• Maintain strong alignment between internal forecasts, management reporting, Board materials, and investor-facing financial narratives.
• Own the preparation and delivery of Finance Board reporting packages, ensuring accuracy, clarity, consistency, and timely completion.
• Prepare consolidated financial performance updates, variance analysis, forecast updates, KPI reporting, cash outlook, and forward-looking financial summaries.
• Create a clear and consistent financial narrative for the CFO, executive team, Board, and relevant governance forums.
• Develop management reporting that supports executive decision-making, accountability, resource allocation, and performance management across the business.
• Coordinate inputs from FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Investor Relations, Strategic / Commercial Finance, and business leaders to ensure a single version of financial truth.
• Own the annual operating plan (AOP) processes end-to-end, including calendar design, templates, business unit submissions, and consolidation into a single enterprise plan.
• Own headcount, opex, and capital expenditure planning, partnering with functional and business unit leaders on cost center budgets, resource allocation, and capital allocation trade-offs.
• Lead scenario and sensitivity modeling to support strategic and operational decision-making (e.g., pricing, capacity, supply chain, and financing scenarios).
• Drive the monthly forecast-to-actual variance cadence in partnership with Accounting, translating flux analysis into actionable insight for business leaders.
• Serve as the finance business lead for the implementation, and ongoing administration of the company’s enterprise performance management (EPM) planning platform, including driver-based model design, data integration with ERP/GL and HR systems, user training, and governance of assumptions and access.
• Define and deliver a post-implementation automation roadmap that reduces manual, spreadsheet-based effort across planning, forecasting, and reporting.
• Partner directly with Accounting/Controller, Treasury, and embedded business-partner finance teams to align close, cash, and forecast processes into a single version of financial truth.
• Support Audit Committee reporting and related governance materials, and provide FP&A support for M&A diligence, integration modeling, and other strategic finance initiatives as needed.
• Apply advanced financial modeling, SQL/data querying, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to build self-serve reporting, and evaluate AI/automation applications to improve forecasting speed and accuracy.

Desired qualification

• 8-10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investor-facing finance, or related finance roles.
• Experience supporting public-company, pre-IPO, recent IPO, de-SPAC, or investor-grade finance environments preferred.
• Ability to translate complex operational and financial inputs into concise executive narratives and decision-ready analysis.
• Strong financial modelling, analytical, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with an enterprise performance management (EPM) platform such as Pigment, Anaplan, OneStream, or Adaptive Planning; hands-on involvement in an EPM implementation or deployment is required.
• Demonstrated ability to align and reconcile data across multiple business systems and ERPs to produce a consistent, auditable set of financial information.
• Track record of driving automation initiatives in data consolidation, forecasting, and reporting to reduce manual effort and improve cycle times.
• High attention to detail, strong judgment, and ability to operate under tight timelines and external scrutiny.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
• Prior experience managing, mentoring, or developing analysts or a small team.
• Demonstrated executive- and Board-level communication skills, with the credibility to represent financial results and planning outputs directly to senior leadership and governance forums.

• Salary range: $150K–$190K, commesurate with experience.
