Senior Investment Compliance Analyst

Job Description

The Senior Data Management and Market Conformity Analyst will be responsible for working comprehensively with both IT and the Frankfurt Investment Compliance/Market Conformity Business Units to procure data necessary for daily compliance and price conformity checks. Furthermore, the Data Analyst will be responsible for the update and maintenance of market data, static data and holdings data that is not otherwise fed to the core application, investment compliance monitoring system, via automated data feeds. Responsibilities will also extend to regular and ad-hoc data quality checks within both the data staging areas as well as the core application. Ultimate responsibilities cover the processing of such data to achieve compliance and check results via the core application and viable price conformity checks as the main deliverables to the Business Unit.

The Senior Data Management and Market Conformity Analyst will be responsible for verifying whether the target investment funds are procuring trades within the market range as per § 168 KAGB (German Securities Law). The Analyst will be in charge of verifying the fund’s portfolio activity with the various market data sources and valuation models provided by the vendors.

REVIEWING WORK AND ASSISTING TEAM SUPERVISOR

• Point of expertise for complex case analysis
• Review all reporting produced by the Associates
• Liaise with internal clients and supporting departments for the purpose of obtaining key inputs to service delivery
• Perform special projects and other tasks as assigned by the Team Supervisor
• Assist Team Supervisor in implementing new procedures and controls
• Maintain and foster a team environment

For DATA MANAGEMENT:

• Data Processing
• Data Quality Check
• Data Uploads and Data Staging
• External Data Requests: Manual and Automated
• Daily and Intra-Day Data Maintenance
• Data Transfers and Monitoring

For MARKET CONFORMITY:

• Calculation/Tester Result Delivery
• Broad knowledge of the financial instruments (including, but not limited by: stocks, bonds, exchange-traded funds, asset-backed securities, FX spots and forwards, FX options, exchange-traded futures, equity forwards, equity options, interest-rate swaps, credit-default swaps, total-return swaps, interest-rate swaptions)

OTHER

• Involvement in departmental ad-hoc projects
• Involvement in the training and development of other team members as necessary
• Make recommendations for changes to processes and procedures and prepare documentation for review as required

Please note: This role requires one to work from office 3 days/week

Minimum Salary: ​ zł68,004 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​ Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​ ​
