Senior Financial Analyst I - Inventory Control Finance

Position Overview

• This position requires a highly motivated candidate with strong analytical, process management, quantitative, and technical skills to aid in the department’s objectives.
• Responsible for the daily and monthly financial / operational analytical support of accounting operations as it relates to the Inventory Control Department, as well as being a liaison to all operational and corporate departments.
• Support an accurate and timely monthly close process, forecast, reporting, business objectives, strategic goals and initiatives.
• Maintain accuracy of all stock ledger/inventory data, its updates and all related controls.
• Perform Merchandise Inventory Valuation, Gross Margin and Cost Analysis.
• Assist Loss Prevention and Store Operations in coordination of physical inventories across the organization’s Distribution Centers and Stores.
• Coordination with internal and external auditors for periodic reviews and SOX compliance, support all corporate, store and DC inventory flows and initiatives.
• Assist in the preparation of client assistance deliverables for quarterly and annual financial statement audits, as well as in other special projects.

Education and Qualifications: 

Education:  Four-year accounting/finance degree required, CPA, CMA, or MBA a plus.

Licenses/Certification/Registration:  N/A

Experience: 2-4 years related work experience.
Inventory / accounting background, concentration in data analytics and reporting. Retail experience preferred.

Compensation Range: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00
