Senior Financial Analyst

Salary Range: 70,000- 88,300

Position Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as subject matter expert (SME) and Administrator for Prophix and other financial reporting and forecasting systems by coordinating and implementing the development of electronic budget, analysis, modeling, and reporting services. Maintain and enhance long-range financial models, including other supporting models. Responsible for developing and maintaining financial models, supporting long-range planning, conducting scenarios and sensitivity analyses, and providing analytical support for executive decision-making.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

• As program administrator for Prophix and other financial reporting systems, create reports, develop and maintain financial dashboards, develop user documentation manuals, guides and job aids.  
• Develop, interpret and implement financial and operational concepts for financial/operational planning and control.  
• Develop financial and operational analysis for various departments and executive management.  
• Provide analysis, interpretation, and education related to financial, operational and statistical information and its implications for business decisions.  
• Conduct financial trend analysis and assess the accuracy of financial information and investigates deviations.  
• Maintain and enhance long-range financial model.  
• Develop models to support analysis, forecasting, and reporting.  
• Support the preparation of annual audit report including consolidated financial statements, and management discussion and analysis (MD&A) using financial systems.  
• Support preparation of monthly and/or quarterly internal and external financial reports.  
• Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements: 

• Knowledge of accounting concepts, practices and policies.  
• Proven ability to create financial models 
• Ability to manipulate data and use reporting system  
• Good team player and ability to meet strict deadlines  
• Excellent analytical skills 
• Demonstrated proficiency of current office technology and software application(s) and demonstrated use of such technology/applications on a regular basis including strong Microsoft Office skills (e.g. Excel and Word) 

Education / Experience 

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Public Planning, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Management, or related quantitative discipline
• 4+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable or Cash Management

• Financial planning and analysis, financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, strategic financial analysis, and decision support

• Experience with Prophix, financial forecasting, enterprise planning, business intelligence, AI enabled tools and analytical capabilities

Working Conditions: 
Works in an office environment. May require frequent bending, stooping, reaching and prolonged sitting and/or standing. Frequent local travel which necessitates a valid State of Georgia driver’s license and be fully insurable for the purpose of obtaining clearance on company “Authorized Drivers List.”  AH Authorized Driver or Assigned Vehicle.
